It IS possible if you have the appropriate body weight, especially if you are going as hard as possible. However, most gym equipment will overestimate calories burned because the formulas they use are derived from their test subjects, which are going to have a lot different "Stats" than you will.
Typically, if the machine does not ask for your age, gender, and weight- and especially if it doesn't take heart rate- don't use their approximations. Use SparkPeople's.
