I once watched a guy wearing those funny toe shoes run..He complained about a mega headache first time out wearing those ugyly things.. And heard many people complain about it at the gym from time to time.. When they finished running and many are pro runners they complained from light to migraine headaches.. Word of warning- headaches can also be caused if the shoe you have on your feet is not correct for the job at hand.. High impact can jar a person from their feet travel up the legs and spine causing headaches too.. Know why you get headaches before just popping pills.. Sometimes the answer is so obvious because people have already ruled out dehydration and running too far too soon.. I know this is fact because my spinal injury was from a gym making their instructors use a carpet covered concrete floor for more than 3 years.. I was not the only person to suffer impact jarring, but it does causes some mighty powerful headaches if the foot wear and the surface you run on is in not okay.. I only run outside on dirt paths, because no matter how great my shoes are my back can't handle impact jarring on any foot path these days.. I suffer migrains and this is the only time I do.. I race walk and this can cut out the worse jarring if no where near dirt paths..

Did you ever get any answers. I've had to give up all aerobic exercise due to migraines and am, of course, gaining weight. For your info, I was able to do Pilates and keep weight off. Unfortunately, my work location has moved and it is no longer feasible to go.

When did it start? Were you ever able to exercise without headaches?

I did a protein shake afterwards but no help. I also drink a lot but not while exercising. I can only do 15 minutes before the pain gets to the point i cant do it anymore. Ikeep trying but to no success. I see the dr. Tuesday hopefully will get some suggestions.
I know I can do it.

Have you talked to your doctor about it? If so, what do they have to say? If not, that would be a good first step. Coach Jen
