I did get a membership and I am really enjoying it. The classes are excellent, of course vary a little from instructor to instructor, and it's clean and nice, and I am pleased how unintimidated I feel by all the really fit weight lifters.

So far so good!

a little late, but i just got a membership at a new large co ed one myself....but im a little annoyed, they advertiseand promote it as a twenty four hour club....but its not 24hrs.they say they need more interest.....uh u coulda told me that when i paid for my membership...i work shift work and might wanna go at odd hours.

other than that i really like the atmosphere, the number of treadmills are insane, never any worry about finding a free one! im excited to try some of the classes too.

did u get a membership?what were your thoughts after your tour?

some days even my rocket ship undies dont work.

Thanks for the info - the location near my home is large and co-ed and brand new ...I'm going to go and take a tour tomorrow and maybe get a trial pass.

Still interested in any feedback anyone may have! emoticon

there is a HUGE difference in quality from the old urban locations, to the premium locations (downtown toronto) to the cookie cutter ones inside the grocery stores.

Classes are Les Mills, you'll get the same thing wherever you go.

Women's only gyms/areas have crappy equipment.
The trainers are there to SELL (I used to work at GL as a trainer).

Never underestimate the strength of a woman.
Never f@#k with one who runs 26.2 miles for fun.

I'm considering joining GoodLife Fitness, primarily to take the classes (Bodycombat, Bodypump, BodyFlow, RPM) as there is more variety and flexibility in times than the 2x week cardio kickboxing I do at my my local karate place.

I would welcome any comments positive or negative about experiences you've had with GoodLife memberships, classes, facilities, etc. And of course I realize each location may differ from the others.

Thanks!
