Retaining water is completely normal when first starting out. I think for me after the 2 or 3rd week I noticed it disappearing. Your body is adjusting to your new activity and workout routine.

Yes, it is normal. if you didn't drink a lot of water before your body will retain what it needs to stay hydrated. once it realizes that you are not going to deprive it of water then it will release it. At least that is what happened to me. I am almost up to a gallon a day. I drink over 100 ounces of water. And no, I am not in the bathroom all the time. Actually i only go several times a day. I also eat fruit and greens so that will also add water to the system.

:)

Hi Everyone! This is a pretty random question and I didn’t know where else I could post this to be honest. I started a new change to my life on January 1st- started eating a lot healthier, exercising and drinking more water. One thing I’ve noticed is since doing this, my stomachs been looking a bit bloaty! Is this normal? I now drink 8 glasses of water a day (although I never used to) and I try to exercise as much as possible; taking stairs, morning work outs etc. but the stomach thing has worried me a bit!
