I was looking for ideas of things I can do at home (maybe on weekends or breaks from school, or even quickly in the morning before running to class), and I stumbled upon the Fit For Duty podcast. I was curious if anyone has tried these podcasts and what their thoughts were on them. I'm giving the first episode a try Thursday (since tomorrow is my walk your way day). I'm just skimming through the episode ahead of time, and it looks really good.
Since my beau and I discussed last night starting to get active together, we decided that we would try going on walks with one another starting this afternoon when I go over to visit him. So I did the first Fit for Duty video, and all I can say is that I love it, I feel it, and I'm going to be feeling it in the morning. It combines such a mixture, including a little strength training at the end, that keeps my heart rate up, but never gets boring. And I can do it in the little amount of space I have to work out in when indoors.
