I just started them myself, and love it so far!! Only on day 3, but I really enjoy the system they use :) I actually started a team for anyone using the dvds so we can discuss our progress if your interested!

I went ahead and purchased the total body blitz and ab workout DVDs and enjoy them as well. You can push yourself as hard (or not) as you want. They show more advanced versions of the exercises and you can up your weights. I like the instructor.

Women's Health is promoting the Spartacus workout for women, but it is really the same workout developed by Rachel Cosgrove for Men's Health. If you google "Men's Health Spartacus Workout" you can find the first two versions and maybe now the third version that came out last year as well. (I got a copy of the magazine with Spartacus 3 in it.)

I love these workouts and think they are very effective. I sort of graduated to them after doing 30 day shred and other workout DVDs. I got very lean and cut doing these workouts. You can make them as hard as you want by increasing the weight. I like being able to turn on my own music and power through the workout. You do need dumbbells or hand weights.

I am actually returning to these after slacking off and gaining weight over the holidays!!

I was unfamiliar, so I googled "Spartacus workout". I got a link to Men's Health, that gives the workout. If it's the same as the Women's Health one, it seems like it's just a circuit workout, and would be pretty good. You might look at that, then you wouldn't have to pay at all!

Has anyone bought or used the Spartacus Workout that was featured on Women's Health Magazine? I'm tempted to try it for 21 days free as it says, but wanted to get feedback from others first if possible.
