First question, are you asking because you want your core to be smaller? I'm asking because that's what people usually mean when they say "toning". If that's the case, no amount of exercise is goi to do that, losing inches comes from diet.
If you're looking to build a stronger core, try planks and all the variants. Supermans are another good one. Coach Nicole has some good core videos as well. I'm currently following the "30 Day 6 Pack" on the BeFit Channel on YouTube. It's got sme great strength stuff for the core with interval cardio mixed in. You can fond lots of Pilates inspired core stuff it theatre as well. I love the BeFit Channel for videos.
