interesting question...I've wondered the same thing.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Thank you all for responding, I came across a few that were older and wiser and then it had cardio, stretching or dance and or chair exercises and then Tony Horton has something for older people too, thanks very much for your input everyone!

Have you tried the Zumba Gold series? It's a series of DVD's designed specifically for older people and/or those who can't keep up with the regular routines. As I am 57, I looked at it, but decided it was too slow and easy for me. It is available for purchase at www.collagevideo.com (No, I have no connection with that company other than being an ocassional customer.)

Another tip: Collage video lets you preview clips of their DVD's before you purchase them. Even if you are not interested in looking at the Zumba Gold series, you might want to go to their website and browse some of their DVD's to see which ones suit your tastes.

Many public libraries also let you borrow exercise DVD's for free. It's a great way to get to use them for free (for a short term basis, though). You can then choose to buy a copy of any ones that your really like and want to own.

Ballet DVDs. It requires good posture which takes strong muscles in the back, muscle strength in legs and arms, contributes to grace, balance, poise and more. When I can't get to a ballet class, I do it at home!

Others will come up with a few more ideas, but this has helped me. I always wanted dance lessons (now age 55). Since mom and dad couldn't provide it in my youth, at least I can do it for myself as I age.

Anyone know of any good dance exercise videos for women over 60? I can't keep up with Zumba and I like the oldies but want something milder but with a good workout, can anyone suggest anything?

Ellen
