I am a big believer in walking to loose weight. I lost 60 lbs. by eating right and walking.

I think 2-3 times a week is good. You could even do it on your off days from what you normally do or aim to take short walks throughout the week in your spare time.

Hi Brenna,

I started wearing a pedometer last October to help encourage me to become more active outside formal activity and was quite surprised how on my non-run days how little walking I did Working from home is a big factor, however, I now consciously make myself aware to get in at least 7,000 steps a day. I, like you, consider my steps as a bonus.

HAPPY SPARK WALKING!

Coach Nancy

Add as much or as little as you like. What are you currently doing?

Walking is a good, low-impact exercise you can do pretty much every day. It doesn't matter how often you do it; you adjust your nutrition to your exercise, not the other way around.

I am thinking about adding walking to my regimine. However, I do NOT want it to be my PRIMARY exercise.

so . .. for this, how often a week do you think is good? 2-3 a week?
