That depends on:
- your fitness level. If you are in pain while exercising, the intensity of the exercise is too much.
- your frequency of exercise. If you are forcing yourself to exercise too often to the point that you start dreading the approaching exercise, it is too frequent.
- your recovery time. If you are not recovered by the time your next exercise session starts, that is too much exercise.
