Great topic. 99 Problems by Jay-Z. Songs by Beck, like Trocialia. Lots of song by Pink have a great beat and get you moving. I also like the Who, some Queen, some Dire Straits, the Clash. And some slower songs are good for cool downs.

Anything with a heavy beat--I actually find myself changing my pace in response!

It depends on my mood, I usually prefer to just listen to my favourite bands and songs which is mostly a mix of alternative rock & rock, indie etc.
But for workouts I also like to listen a lot of pop and just some upbeat random songs.
Destiny's Child - Survivor
Cheryl Cole - Parachute
Kat DeLuna - Whine Up
Britney Spears - Break the Ice, 3, Toxic Gimme More and others
Also Pink, Shakira, Nelly Furtado and other simple pop

More my own style:
Lots of Muse songs
Garbage - Run Baby Run - perfect for running motivation
PJ Harvey - Down By The Water, This Mess Were in and others
Also Audioslave, Stereophonics, Bebe, Kaiser Chiefs and lots and lots of others..

For cool down I prefer some random rumba beats or ambient/meditation songs or songs with nice vocals. I like Yasmin Levy, Gotan Project and others

I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.

I listen to my music - my playlist is huge. I can't listen to just any songs when I exercise...I need to listen to my own favorite songs that get me excited and pumped up.

Hello everyone!

I am wondering what your favourite workout music is, and specific songs you find really get you going. I listen to the radio when I workout but I find some songs aren't very motivational and they kind of sink my mojo! Any music suggestions would be awesome!

Thanks!
