Definitely go for it. I was wondering the same thing about Christmas on December 1st. "Should I just wait until the new year? It's only a few weeks, how much progress could I even make?"
But then I decided I could set my sails in one of two directions. I could eat all the holiday stuff and GAIN (or maintain if I'm lucky), or actively fight against that and LOSE. I am so glad I decided to go the health route. I *feel* so much stronger and better. It's pretty amazing what you can accomplish in 3 weeks, even if the results don't show up on paper. You'll enjoy the cruise more.
