Most cruise ships have gyms on board. Start now and continue exercising on your cruise! Have a great time.

You don't have to eat the whole thing.

Definitely go for it. I was wondering the same thing about Christmas on December 1st. "Should I just wait until the new year? It's only a few weeks, how much progress could I even make?"

But then I decided I could set my sails in one of two directions. I could eat all the holiday stuff and GAIN (or maintain if I'm lucky), or actively fight against that and LOSE. I am so glad I decided to go the health route. I *feel* so much stronger and better. It's pretty amazing what you can accomplish in 3 weeks, even if the results don't show up on paper. You'll enjoy the cruise more.

I have always felt that I was more motivated to do physical activity while on vacation, particularly cruises. I like running on cruise ship treadmills, since they tend to face the windows looking out the front of the ship and it feels like you are moving. Also, working out can make you feel like you "earned" your food.

I say start now and continue on the cruise.

If you start now, you'll make progress, and might even stick with it while on your cruise, coming home better off than if you did nothing!

Well if you start now, you'll be three weeks ahead than if you didn't start at all. I say go for it now!

Hi all

I leave on a cruise in about 3 weeks. Would love to be a little more fit than I am. Is this enough time? I am afraid of starting a workout routine, then take the week off during the cruise and not be able to get back on track. Should I just wait until I get back from the cruise? Thanks

Kelly
