While it was no doubt quite a workout, I wouldn't even begin to guess the calorie burn for it. If I were you, I'd count it as strength training, since there's no way to get an accurate burn for such a unique activity. :) I'd count them as bonus calories, and not fret if you eat an extra 100 or so at dinner.

i wouldnt track that as a workout i would just consider it a part of your normal life and what ever calories you burn will just be a nice little bonus

I can't give you an exact number because it depends on your weight. But it's 50 calories for 10 minutes for "carrying, loading or stacking wood, loading/unloading or carrying lumber" for a 150 lb woman. 297 calories for a full hour. I hope this helps!

We burn wood and I spend a great deal of time lugging it in to the basement - I always work up a decent sweat but can't seem to find anything in the search info except moving boxes.
