I have just started running (I used to run on a tread mill many, many years ago).

I am having a hard time braving the elements. (alrhough I have been going). I am training for a few 5k that are taking place this winter.

Any suggestions on what to wear?

Be the change you want to see.

Yup, I run through slush and snowstorms, ice storms, high winds, icy roads...I run in all kinds of weather.

Never f@#k with one who runs 26.2 miles for fun.

Yep, just dress warm and be careful, and there's no reason you can't run year-round :)

Anyone run throughout the winter?

Can't change the wind, but I can adjust my sails.
