Usually I'll do elliptical for about 20 (or more if I can) then finish out the hour with light/medium walking on the treadmill.

I'm still a little intimidated by the non cardio section at my gym, so I'll do situps/pushups/random things with my medicine ball once I get home.

Elliptical for 3 miles, another 40-50 floors on the stairmaster, and finally 30 minutes of swimming. I love, LOVE it, clears my mind.

I love taking any kind of a class. I end up pushing myself harder when I am surrounded by others. I especially love taking class from a few super cheerful instructors, I'm not a big fan of the kind that yell at you. :)

I enjoy working out, but if I really do not feel like exercising, I will incorporate TV. If I'm at the gym, I will put the treadmill on 3.5 and an incline of 15%. It's a slow uphill walk while I watch some trash TV. If I'm at home, I will pull out my step and simply go up and down while watching trash TV.
I try to focus on the TV show, not the exercise.

I really like the stationary bike and recumbent elliptical at my gym (who even know those existed?). I do the stationary bike more often, but if my butt is still sore from the last time I did it, I will go for the recumbent elliptical instead because it's not as intense and doesn't work my butt muscles. I also do strength training after either of those things.

I have fallen in love with Tabata training. I set up four different routines. It's an intense 80 minutes, but I always feel great after.

Is that "go to" when you want to exercise, or when you don't?

I go to the treadmill when I don't feel like exercising. Once the speed and incline is set there is no cheating. As long as it is moving, I have to keep walking.

I tend to head straight to the stair stepper or treadmill at the gym. Both of those get my heart rate right up to 80-90% and I love that.
