If you click on Healthy Lifestyle at the top of the page and go to Videos, you'll find a lot of strength training workouts to choose from. They can all be done from home.

Hope that helps,

Coach Jen

I would like to do 30 mins of cardio exercises twice a week.So that means I will be doing 2, 60mins of exercise. My fitness level well let's say it's beginner low impact but would like to build it up.I like to do my exercises on Tuesday's and Friday's. Is there a progamme on Spark that would be suitable for me? Also, I cannot afford the gym.

I do cardio 5 times a week. How often depends on a few things, one is you fitness level, how intense your work outs are and what are your goals. Walking 30 minutes a day will help over all health but I think the recommended amount is 60 minutes per day for optimal health. If ST is also one of your goals it is recommended that on days you do ST you don't do anymore than 45 minutes as it is counter acts the ST work. I don't think there is a limit for cardio unless your burning more than you are eating, or straining/injuring your body.

If you are experiencing muscle soreness from the videos then I would suggest that you give yourself a day of rest to allow those muscles to heal. Your body/muscles will eventually become a custom to the videos and you won't feel that soreness after while. I started out at 30 minutes and I lost weight, but after a while 30 minutes wasn't enough and I had to up my cardio to 45 minutes and adjust the intensity to continue to lose the weight.

I'm not familiar with these videos. Are they strength training or cardio workouts? You'd benefit from adding strength training to your routine 2-3 times a week.
