say Whaaaaaaaaaaaat??

Our weight can vary by as much as 7 pounds in the course of a single day due to our diet, workouts, hydration and yes, hormones.

I am doomed :(

I am just focusing on making small adjustments in my eating to facilite more weight loss. being a vegatarian many times I do not get enough calories and I do not lose. My other issue in balancing the carbs, proteins and fat balance at each meal.

If/when I stop tracking nutrition and exercise, I can easily shoot up 12 pounds in a couple of months. Has nothing to do with "this body of mine"...its my brain that's usually the problem.

Hi,

Are you tracking your nutrition? Weight loss is acheived when we expend more calories than we consume. That being said, the more we workout the more efflcient our body becomes at doing the activity so that over time we burn less calories today doing the same activity than we did when we first started out.

Tracking your nutrition is a very valuable piece of the weight loss/healthy living journey. It allows us to see if there are any changes we need to make. But remember too, that our weight is not a static number. Our weight can vary by as much as 7 pounds in the course of a single day due to our diet, workouts, hydration and yes, hormones.

was down 20lbs from mid dec to mid april
got on scale at gym last week .. back up 12 lbs ?

I don't get it how could i jump up that much --

all i doing is walking between 2,000 to 6,000 steps a day - - trying to get up to 10 k steps a day - ..
first time back at gym in loooooooooooooooooooong time
did 15 min on elliptical this includes 3 min cool down .. and i used the arms the whole time ..

didn't make it back there on weekend -- ankles and feet were too swollen to do anything....

off to see herbalist tonite -maybe she can suggest something ..

how could i possibly gain 12 lbs in 2 months??

does not make sense -- loosing weight is soo frustrating :( i keep having to start over all the time - i am annoyed at this body of mine .. grrr
