Hi, O

Have you recently made a big change in how much you exercise or what/how much you eat? If not, exercise may not be the problem. Chronic over-exercise, especially if combined with under-eating, can cause fatigue. But if you haven't changed your routine recently, it could be the fatigue has other causes--poor sleep, stress, a medical problem, etc. If it continues, it might be worth mentioning it to your doc.

Hope this helps.

Are you exercising in the morning? When did you start working out regularly? I ask because I felt the same way for a few weeks when I started going to the gym every morning. But, I was exhausted all day. I wasn't working rediculously hard or anything, but my body wasn't used to it. Now I feel tired if I don't workout! Today I had to be at work early and therefore didn't get my workout in and I just feel worn down. I can't wait to go home and get some exercise in!

That sounds frustrating. Could you slip in a piece of fruit to give you a bit of energy? Are you able to exercise in the morning? Maybe some days you could just do a "bare minimum" and see if that helps. You will work through this! Good luck.

I thought exercise was supposed to energize you. But by the time 4:00pm rolls around my eyes droop and I become desperate for a nap. I usually have a cup of coffee and that helps a bit. But why am I hitting that wall? I never felt exhausted like this when I didn't exercise regularly.
