Right now, zero. I have a streak going of at least 10 minutes exercise per day, and I want to make it as long as I can.
I do light days though. Today will be one.

I force myself to take one rest day, although it's psychologically very difficult for me. I run six days a week, and I know I need a day off every week to recover and to prevent overtraining. I just never like it.

Wow! You took two whole weeks off! And here I am panicking because this coming week I'm away on holiday and won't be able to do any serious workouts for four days! I guess it's not so bad afterall!

I do something most days, but at least one day a week, I only ride my horse, do yoga or walk, if I don't take the day off completely. The other six days, I try to run, do kettlebells or other strength training.

I generally do some exercise everyday, although I try to lighten up a little one or two days. If I do take a complete day off, I really try to limit it to just one day (unless sick), so I won't allow myself to slip back into making excuses and not working out.
Nice topic to think about.

Usually 1, but if I have time and my body's up for it, I'll do something every day of the week.

Depends on the weeks activities. Some weeks I don't take rest days, but I take no more than two days a week.

I was only taking 1, but my weight loss and other goals is right on track and so I decided to skip my 6th day of cardio. I should still be losing 1.5 lbs. per week, with an additional day of rest for my legs and knees.

I have the weekend off its just what I'm used to now.
|
|
|
 |
I take one day off per week, sometimes two. I have more free time on weekends so I try to do big workouts then - like big hikes or something. If I try to exercise every day I soon feel like it's just not quality exercise... like I'm lagging a little.

When it comes to cardio, I don't take any rest days, but I do weight training 4 days a week. I schedule 60 minutes a day, so on the days I don't do weight training, I do 60 minutes of low-impact cardio (my exercise of choice is dancing like an idiot in my apartment, listening to my favorite music). On the days I do weight training, I only do 40 minutes, since my weight training routine typically takes about 20 minutes. I do 5-10 minutes of stretching after every workout. On weekends, I may do some additional cardio like taking a walk on one of the trails near my place. I just find that unless I'm really feeling sick, I am a much calmer, saner person when I do that hour of work on myself every day. I have more focus, more energy, and can handle stress a lot better this way.
