Best: All of Jillian's workout DVDs.

Worst: Ugh. Stupid mini elliptical trainer thing that you can find for like $100. The small ones with no arm handles and a tiny stride. Why I wasted my money on this I have no clue.

Best equipment ... series of yoga mats that I wore out one after the other ... OVERWHELMINGLY at home, btw ...

And even the aerobic step-bench (until my feet went bad on me) ... just because I developed foot problems, didn't mean it didn't get successfully used 9 hours a week !!

--

Worst equipment ... a stationery bike ergometer that hurt my tush to sit on and so I let it rust out ...

How long have you had the Vibrams, veggkk? Have you been running in them? I am looking to buy a pair and I am a little hesitant. I tried on the KSO's and they feel so strange, with the material up and around your toes. The Bikila's look a little more substantial too. What has been you experience? Thanks...

Well the best is Just changing it up all the time! Right now Hoola hooping is the fav. Worst would have to be the cheaper version of elliptical several years ago. We learned that the industrial strength one is fabulous though!!

Best: ChaLEAN! I love this system. Short workouts that really do the job! I never get bored! I am feeling great! And I am starting to love my arms, and I used to never wear tank tops!

Worst: Air Climber, my legs were always sore and never toned up! Plus it would move across my floor while using it. I would have to jump off and move it back. The counter was always off and my heart rate never really got high enough to be a good workout.

I bought a Nordic Track Ski Machine 15 years ago. It's a great, but noisy, machine for balance and cardio. I used to use it all the time. But I have a studio apt. It used to fit, awkwardly, in my hallway until I had my apt remodeled and now I don't have anywhere it will fit. So it is my best and worst. Now it's in my storage cage waiting for a day, years in the future, when I can afford a larger apt.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who bought and dislikes the Tony Little stepper. My achilles ached for days. Best...Wii fit and my wonderful walking shoes. Like my treadmill but it takes up so much room and this time of year it's better to be outside.

Best: Gym membership. For about $60 a month I can go almost anytime, and during the hours I have my son, they have daycare to take him off my hands. When he gets me worked up and angry, I take us to the gym, he plays, and I work out. PERFECT.

Also great: My watch with a pulse tracker, a resistance band, ankle weights, comfy workout clothes, good workout shoes and socks, and a subscription to interesting fitness magazines.

Worst: My crappy pedometer that didn't work right.
