I'm starting to think that I might. I'm really starting to enjoy the gym, swimming with my kids and having the stamina to keep up with the kids.

Probably not as much. I love walking, hiking & being outdoors, but I hate the treadmill & have to make myself do the treadmill when I can't get outside.

No...and making myself do it is something I struggle with. Although, I know it will be easier once I'm back in the habit again. For me, I think the key is going to be never letting myself get out of the habit.

Before last night I would have said no. But I had a crappy day yesterday and I was exhausted and miserable. Then I did a three mile advanced leslie sansone dvd and was amazed at how much better I felt. That feeling has stayed with me and I am ready for today.
So now I say - yes i would work out even if I didn't have to. It really does make me feel better.

Yes, walking if nothing else if I don't walk in my neighborhood, I would walk in the mall or at the gym and even at home walk up and down in the home, yard and garage. I can alsway find something to do.

This sounds weird, but something inside me has definately "clicked"... I never feel like I HAVE to excercise anymore... I NEED it!
Even when I plan on taking a day off, I get restless until I get a 30-50 minute cardio workout in!

Nobody really "has to" exercise. We choose to do it for our health. I'm not an exercise lover. I have to force myself to do it, but I feel so much better when I'm done. It manages my back and knee pain. I like feeling strong as opposed to flabby and out of shape. I'm not really sure how to answer your question. If I were naturally thin and pain-free, I might not exercise. But I'm neither so I keep doing it.

Yes. I have always felt better after moving around. I would probably do more hiking or water sports than gym stuff if I didn't need to strength train, but I have always liked exercise.

a couple of months ago, no. Now, yes, absolutely, I love how it makes me feel -- like I'm strong.
I keep reminding myself that eating is to nourish my body not to nurse my emotional wounds.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
I didn't like exercise also. I used to park my car as near as possible to where ever I was going. Now I park as far away as I can in safe areas and walk to where ever I have to go, so i can get some walking exercise.

If you go by the way side on an eating bing, just get up and start again. I always say I will be on a diet for the rest of my life because I love food. But since Spark People I can eat the right foods and not get out of control. Keep up the good work no matter what people say about you. Love yourself. Do it for yourself and no one else.
