I have chronic kidney disease and low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years..I am 55 years old. I do walking, ride the bike at the gym 65 minutes, 3 times a week & go ice skating for 90 minutes 2 times a week for people over 50. My name is Linda.
When it's too cold to be out, I walk around the house. I split my time between dancing and walking. I use the oven timer to keep track of time and go old school with my ipod. Since we can't seem to get above the 30's, I'm doing that again today.
I use our HTC Vive (It's a VR thing) to do most of my workouts. Today, I used a program called sound boxing. Instead of staying stationary, though, I tend to bounce around, march in place...etc...Anything to get the heart rate up and keep it there. Works well for me. Burned about 450 cals after 35 minutes. Well, Fitbit says 650 but Spark says 450. Either way, I did stuff. =P
