I'm going to share this below to see if anyone else has had a similar experience & of course for support. :)
Around August of last year, my mother got sick & ended up in the hospital. I'm the youngest in my family, but ended up being able to stay with her in the hospital. Initially, I figured we would only be in there for about a week. But a week passed, then onto two, three, and i stopped counting. Of course I didn't stay every single night, but I was there a lot. My dad rotated turns with me. We finally found out that my mom's condition was terminal, and that she wouldn't be recovering. Throughout all of this time, I was skipping the gym to save money for gas/food, and everything that goes with living in the hospital/in between house & hospital.
I was so angry & just didn't care about my health/myself because my mom was dying. I know that sounds crazy, but I just lost it.
Anywho, mom passed in December. Since then my workout/diet has been out of whack as I'm trying to cope w/ losing mom & trying to get my life back on track. I got engaged in Feb. & I'm getting married in Dec. 2015.
I'm finally picking up the pieces of my new life without my mom. I'm 27 & I refuse to let my health spiral downward. I'm BACK after almost a full year of chaos. I'm going to work to get this weight off before my wedding & I'm ready to get my life back on track!! :)
