I am getting married in April of 2015. I have been on this site for about a year and have only lost 6lbs. I am trying so hard and not seeing any results. My wedding date is creeping up. I need help to!!!

1-2 lbs per week is also healthier. As time grows short and you are working on wedding plans, you may find you must cut back on extra workouts, or the stress might work against you. I'd be realistic - shoot for 30 and any extra is fabulous.

I agree with Luann. Remember that your groom loves you. I am sure just the way you are.

Just aim for being your best and healthiest self

Made it to my maintenance weight of 125 pounds.

Even though I have reached goal. I still don't know everything about weight loss.

Realistic is losing 1-2 pounds per week (on the average).
For 16 weeks, that's 16-32 pounds.

I got engaged about a month ago, and we decided to get married in the fall of 2015. Due to my fiance's work travel assignments for the summer and fall of 2015, we have decided we need to move up our wedding date to THIS fall! That gives me only 4 months to lose the weight I originally thought I'd have a year to lose! My goal is to lose 60 lbs and I know that it is not realistic to lose that much in 4 months time.

My plan is to track calories, eating no less than 1200-1500 a day + doing cardio/weights 5x per week to burn about 600-800 calories per workout. My question is, do you think it is realistic to lose 40-50 pounds in 4 months with this plan, or would that be overdoing it as well?
