SOON2BCOURTNEY - That was a great idea, and I am going to copy it and put pictures and reminders on my snack cupboard. I keep binge eating at night, when I know I should just go to bed.

My wedding is in 2015, but I want to be at my ideal size to go dress shopping. I want to knock of 30lbs by june as well. and so far all my weight has done is go up emoticon . But I am working hard still anyway. I wont give up.

EAEMMA... what a lovely sentiment!
CANDY1107... thank you very much! I do like your egg idea and that's probably a great way of getting myself to try different veggies. I was nervous at first, but now that it is getting closer and some of the major decisions have been made I'm only excited... not just excited but thrilled and concentrating on the marriage more than the wedding day (helps me deal with any planning stress). If you need any help, feel free to send me a message, I've read sooo many books I think I may have to change my career to wedding planner lol

Awesome! My two big things are working out daily, and not eating crap food. Working out is easier. It's harder for me to say no to snacks and sweets when they are around in my office. Food is the hardest part for me.

SnowHockey I would definitely recommend checking out Blogilates or even the recipes on here. There are several easy ones to choose from, Yesterday I made mini fretatas or clean egg muffins. I know you said you don't like bell peppers but you can also add other veggies in with the eggs. There's also the mug muffins those are yummy too and so easy to make. I hope this helps Congrats on getting married are you nervous or excited? I feel like time is flying by so fast and Im doing it all by myself I feel sometimes.

I'm also getting married in June! We recently had to change our wedding date (6 mo earlier than we originally planned ek!) to accommodate family members. I've been logging my food lately and to my surprise, my breakfast has been my downfall. Can anyone give me some lower cal options? I'm also very picky :/ things like spinach and bell peppers make me cringe... but any recommendations are much appreciated. Congratulations to all brides to be!!!!

First of all congrats! This may sound silly but I plan to put a reminder of my wedding ( save the date, picture of a wedding dress, etc) on my fridge to remind me of my goal. I am hoping that when I am weak and reach in the fridge for a snack I will see that picture and hopefully make a healthy choice.
Best of luck to you. 30 pounds by June is definitely doable emoticon

Congrats on your recent success! That's awesome! I am a sushi lover, too. Put a shrimp tempura roll in front of me, and I'm a goner! Some sushi places will substitute brown rice for the sushi rice. It doesn't quite taste the same but is a pretty good substitute that gives a good fiber boost.

TOTALLY doable! I'm on my second round of health goals. I dropped 20 pounds in about three months with healthy eating and exercise. I was in college and have not gained it back in about two years. I'm trying to lose about 15 more before my wedding on May 31st. My first fitting will probably be in early March. It really depends on when your fitting is, but I would say it's fairly doable!

The first time I lost weight what worked for me was a low carb plan (not no carb and not Atkins). I stuck to about 40-60 net carbs per day. Fruit and veggies were freebies, and I could have as much as I wanted of those. I limited breads, pastas, and rice from my diet. The weight came off steadily, and I didn't feel deprived. Exercise is not quite as big of a deal as people think. Weight loss is 80% in the kitchen. You cannot work off a bad diet.

Hope this helps! Congrats on your engagement!!

I am getting married in June 2014 and I need to lose at least 30lbs is this doable? I need motivation, I always give up on my diets and healthy living but I need to stick to it this time because I am not going to wear a size 18 dress at my wedding. I am wearing a strapless dress and want my arms to look nice. I also want to take my dress in at least 2 sizes. Any advice?
