It's more than possible! I have 30-40 to lose before my wedding and only 5 months. For me, the goal is 2lbs a week. I think what's important is to curb stress eating and focus of portioning/not overindulging. Treating yourself is okay! Just use moderation.
Have you set your goals with SparkPeople yet? This site is great for keeping you realistic and healthy about your weight loss goals. I was feeling pretty hopeless before I came here, but everyone has been super supportive! Start your weight loss blog and use it to vent, brag, etc. It helps to put things in perspective.
Set your goals, post them on your mirror so you can see them everyday, and go for it!
And remember, a bride ALWAYS looks beautiful on her wedding day. Even if we don't make our goal 100%, it's our day and we are going to shine! The confidence and power we give ourselves by working toward our goals is going to show.
