We're planning to have the "classic" wedding So our colours will be white for the braid and blue suit for me I saw many interesting ideas among wedding suits for men, like here stylemann.com/best-wedding-suits-for-men/ for example, for the first time I wanted to have the usual black but then I decided to have smth more original My attire looks totally like on this pic, it's the peacock model which fits me greatly
53 year old bride here....second marriage for both of us this Sept.
Originally we were going with purple because my daughter and his thought that would be great. However with a Sept. wedding, my daughter changed her mind and thought burgundy would be nice. It's a favourite colour of mine, so yeah, it's a nice autumn colour! The men will wear black with burgundy ties. Very spiffy!

SMMSNOOPY - I don't think that she has to go with the colors that the church is using. She could have Purple white and silver and not use any red. I just dont think there is a way to make the Red and Purple co-exist. I would either go with Red White and Silver or Purple white and silver, I would not mix the two. Good luck and congrats to her!

My daughter is the biggest fan of purple, but she also loves the Christmas season. She has decided to get married in December, which means the church will be decorated (red, white & silver) throughout the sanctuary. This means purple and red for the colors. She's trying her best to make that work, but having a hard time. Any suggestions?

Our colors are peacock colors! Purple, royal blue, bright green, teal, and gold. We are doing a 1920s themed party for the reception, like a big speakeasy including signs on the door saying that the establishment has been closed for violation of the Prohibition Act!

The venue is full of blue, lovely dark blue but I have no Idea what to use with it. I am looking for something to brighten it up a bit and make it more lively... At the moment its looking rather depressing and dark. We are using natural light (LOTS of candles, lanterns and a massive fire place, its a winter wedding) but that makes the blue look even darker. Any advice? We are having a steam train wedding, with a train trip as part of the resection. Cant Waite!
they were teal & brown but my fiance wanted a smokey blue color for his vest & tie & groomsmen NOW then are almost a navy blue, burlap, and pastel colors I'm doing babys breath as my flowers so I wanted my accent colors to be white, light pinks, browns etc.

Teal and gold. :) It was mint green, but I'm slightly blue/green colorblind and when I bought all these decorations thinking they were mint green, my fiancé's family informed me they were teal. Oh well. Still a pretty color! :)

My bridesmaids are wearing marine as well! My accent color is silver. I was worried that the color combo would be too wintery for our 9/5/15 wedding, but then I decided it's my wedding and I can have whatever colors I want! :-) We're doing sunflowers and daisies in our bouquets so I think that will balance out the wintery look of the navy and silver.
picked out bridesmaid dresses and color this weekend. Color will be "Marine" its a dark blue/navy color My fiancé picked out a smokey blue to go accent the dark blue I'm also doing pastels/baby breath for reception colors

Oh goodness, I have no idea yet! We have just started planning so I do have a little bit of time to decide...but I can't make up my mind! I've toyed with pink and burlap, tiffany blue and white, and mint and gray. We are going for an elegant rustic theme and I think the pink and burlap would look really nice, but mint is my favorite color. Ugh....I really just have no idea. :)

Tying the knot in September. And we're going with the foresty-autumn color spectrum: Reds, oranges, dark browns, a bit of green...
I'm actually thinking about a green wedding dress. Or maybe some kind of brownish-orange. Gonna get started on my dress next week, actually. I pestered one of my friends to sew it for me, since she is a really good cosplayer, and know how to sew stuff.
And nope. No white dress for me. This is gonna be a viking wedding, so I need a viking dress. Hubby-to-be is also gonna be dressed up in viking clothes.
