Hi STACIET33,

One of the reasons that feature is not available is because we believe it is important to track other nutritional information, not just your calorie intake. However, if you are looking for a workaround, you could create a generic custom food with a calorie of 1 or 10 or whatever you want. Then, when you know the calories of what you ate and do not care to track the details, you can enter an appropriate quantity of your custom food to equal the number of calories you had.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the reply. I'm curious as to why this feature is not there, as it is in every other program I've done. I got some combination the other day at Subway that I probably wouldn't get again and just wanted to add the calories. Happened again today with a salad I made. I found myself looking up every ingredient when I already knew the calorie count.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, but just wanted to confirm.

If you have things you generally eat together you can create a grouping. I do this when I have breakfast. I usually have one of two oatmeal recipes, both with about 5 ingredients. I just make a group in my nutrition tracker and only have to put in one thing. You do have to input all the items the first time.

Hope this helps

I can't seem to find a way to just type in calories without the hassle of searching for a food I've eaten.
