Interesting about the "&" symbol. I had the original message copied (just with ctrl C) , and tried it several times with the same result (wouldn't post on original team thread or here). By the time I had gotten a reply and wanted to see my original (banned) post again, DH had been at the computer after me and copied something else.
I had never stopped to wonder how SP keeps out the profanity and of course, that must be how...there are certain words that trigger the response.
Are you sure you used the letter n and not the ampersand (the "and" symbol?) For some reason, some blog and comment systems read "&" as something that needs to be censored. Others will just end the post at that symbol. It must be that the & is used for something in computer code, but at any rate, it seems that the blog window is more sensitive than forum posts here.
I just tried to post an answer on one of my teams and can not get it to post....I keep getting a screen that says "No Profanity, Please! Click here to go back"
Trouble is......there was absolutely no profanity in what I was trying to post. I've never seen this feature on SP before. Is this new? and all I can think of that it was objecting to was I was trying to write out M and M's (the candy), but instead with the 2 capital M's with an "n" in between instead of "and". Just curious as to what triggered the profanity response.
