Does it matter if you log the gardening on your phone or log it on the site? Can you try it both ways to let me know?

Hi Coach Jen

I just double checked some figures n it seems to only happen when i enter gardening?
on the 24 June i did 90 minutes iphone app says 689, on the site it says 232 I think.
Maybe the iPhone app is overestimating?
This is the 2nd time I've noticed

Thanks

Is this a consistent problem or did it just happen once? If it's consistent, can you let me know what your calories burned says when you look at your phone vs. the site?

Thanks,

Coach Jen

When you look at your calories burned on your Start page through the app compared to on the site, are those the 2 numbers that are different?

Oh ok I just thought it was restricted to first 120 minutes for spark points only.
Still not sure why same activity is so different with calories burnt on phone compared to Internet site?

Chebba,

You can log as much activity as you'd like, but for the purposes of the leaderboards, only the first 120 minutes count towards those numbers.

The leaderboards are current activity, not a month behind. You can log up to one week ahead for fitness minutes.

1. I'm sooooo sorry, but I'm still a bit confused. I received a 2000 monthly Fitness Award for June last week, but my Spark Earth fitness Minutes for this month are only showing 1303. Please would you explain - sorry if I'm not 'getting it'.

2. Are you saying that we can never notch up more than 120 minutes exercise a day?

3. How come some teams post their Digest leader boards for, say, May at the beginning of May, June at the beginning of June, and so on? Surely leader boards should be retrospective - e.g., May should be posted at the end of May or the very beginning of June, etc?

Thank you. I look forward to your reply.

Only the first 120 minutes of exercise each day count towards your SparkAmerica fitness goals. They still show up in your tracker, but that's the reason for the difference you're seeing.

Just wondering why my SparkEarth Fitness Minutes are 120 out?
I've gone through my month to date and it should be at 427 but it is only at 307.
Yesterday I did 240 minutes gardening (and feel it all over lol) but it looks like only 120 was included as this week including my 20 minutes today is only 140.
Also my iPhone app and the internet site can't seem to agree if I burnt 1740 calories yesterday (iPhone app) or 712 calories (internet site). Surely they should be synced?
So yea just wondering. ...
