Why is there a 120 minute cap on the fitness minute leaderboard? What good does it serve? Is it unhealthy if I exercise for more than 120 minutes? If not, why the cap? Technical issue? Policy? Processing issue?

Please let me know. Because it is not correct to not count my exercise if I exercise for 2 hours and ten minutes.

If a marathoner finished his marathon in 3 hours and 10 minutes, would only the first 120 minutes count?

I noticed the issue on April 30 because I should have received a 2000 fitness minute award for April and didn't.

No, I don't use a heart rate monitor. I split the difference between the calories burned walking and calories burned on a stair stepper per the SP fitness tracker.

I checked our support emails and do not see any recent emails from you (I do see one from 2012 only). So it looks like that didn't come through to us.

When did you start noticing this difference on your account? Your stairs entries - are you using a heart rate monitor to log those calories burned amounts? I ask only because I wonder if that entry may be causing some of the issue (it may not, but it is possible).

I never do more than 120 minutes per day.

I emailed support last week and haven't heard back.

The 554 minutes for the month has the 120 minutes cap per day that I mentioned earlier in the thread. So that is why that number is lower than what your Fitness Tracker has.

For the SparkSummary Calendar, I'm not sure what is happening there, so I will send a note to the tech team to check it out when they have a chance.

I am seeing an issue with fitness minute calculation. If I go through and add up what I have done each day, looking at my fitness tracker, I have 654 minutes this month. But SP says I have 554 minutes this month. When I look at my SparkSummary Calendar the Fitness Minutes on some days don't match the fitness minutes I have on my tracker.

May 7: tracker says 112 minutes; calendar says 62 minutes
May 9: tracker says 87 minutes; calendar says 55 minutes

Can you give me some days as an example of where you are seeing that issue? There is a 120 minutes per day cap on fitness minutes that are reported under "My Fitness Minutes", which also go to the leaderboards. So if you are tracking more than 120 minutes on a day, only the first 120 minutes will go toward that, but your fitness tracker page will list all your minutes that you tracked.

There seems to be a problem with the fitness minutes. It was not adding some of my minutes to the 'My Fitness Minutes'.......Now it's adding too many????? Thanks
