Ahh, now we're getting somewhere with identifying this as an ad issue! emoticon

Here are some instructions on how to take a screenshot:

- First, open up a new Word document so you can paste the screenshot here later. It can be any kind of word processing or other graphics program (like Paint).

- Assuming you are using a PC (not a Mac or iPad), take the screenshot by clicking on the "Print Screen" (Prnt Scr) button on your keyboard (should be in upper right area)

- Then go to the open Word document and paste the screenshot into it by clicking the "Ctrl" and "v" keys at the same time. The screenshot should now show in your document. Now save the document onto your computer. Be sure you know the location where you saved it.

- Now you can create an email to adreport@sparkpeople.com and attach that document to the email.

There is an ad placed right before Step 3 on start page, which is taking up the exact space as the page is shifting. Sorry I don't know how to do the pic and attachment. I tried to erase tried ad but it wont go.

Hello again!

Did you try using a different browser to see if that helps?

Also, the way you describe it now has me wondering if there might be a problem with an ad that is blocking some of the window. That did not show up when I checked your account; but, different ads display for different people so I would not necessarily have that happen to me. Do you see any indication that there could be a blank popup blocking your view? If you look around the edges of the blank area do you see anything? Maybe a small x in a corner where you can close the popup window if that is what it is? Do you notice any particular ad displaying on the page? If you think anything like that could be going on, please take a screenshot of your entire screen when that happens and send it as an attachment to adreport@sparkpeople.com, letting them know when that is happening and ask if they can see if it might be an ad problem.

I know how frustrating it must be to have that happening. Let me know what happens with the above.

Sorry I tried opening it in start and in tracker and still have the same problem. I checked out the site you also suggested. I even closed the computer and reopened. Still no luck I haven't been able to track my fitness for one week now. Thank you so much for all your help but the left side is still half cut off, with a huge white space in the middle.

Hi,

I added a couple of workouts using your Quick Track and it worked fine for me. I did delete those entries but wanted to let you know I added 2 things for a total of 10 minutes in case you see that show up on a report or something so you know that was me testing it.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache? I'm not sure that will help; but, it is worth a try. If you need help with how to do that, you can check out this Google page for instructions for your browser:

If that does not work, I would recommend you try a different browser as mentioned earlier.

I hope one of those recommendations will work for you!

Hi,

Exactly where are you trying to log your activity? On the Start page (in Quick Tracking) or are you going to the My Fitness page and entering it into the Fitness Tracker? I can try it on your account if you let me know that.

Also, you might want to try using a different browser to see if it works better for you there.

Thanks for your reply. I tried it with no luck. What happens is that there is a huge space after I try to log in the activity. The text slides to the right of the screen, so I cannot see the right half, and where the text should be is a big space.

Hi KIMPARKER3!

First, I apologize that I missed your previous post.

It sounds like you have a couple issues going on. First, I checked your account and I do not see a Spark Activity Tracker connected to it. Do you have your Spark connected to a different account? If not, have you run the setup program for the Spark yet? When you get your Spark, you need to go to www.sparkpeople.com/setup and download the setup program to your computer. Then run that program and follow the prompts to complete the installation. Let me know if you have additional questions on this part.

Next, for the trouble you are having entering fitness into the Fitness Tracker, it sounds like it could be an issue with your screen resolution such that you cannot see the entire window. You can try holding down ctrl and the - key at the same time to zoom out of that window. If that does not help, please let me know.

My Spark activity tracker won't track my steps or my mileage. How can I fix that?
When I type in my minutes it slides over to the right and I can't see or click on the other half.
I have been trying for about three days. refreshing, starting again etc. but when I type in activity it slides to the right and I can't click on the save button. thanks

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Spark. I see that you wrote into Support email a few times a couple days ago, and the Support team replied to each of them. But, I do not see any responses from you to those emails. Did you get those emails? Our Support team sent you 1 on the 20th and 2 on the 21st. If you got those, please check them out and try what was suggested. If you don't see those emails, please check your spam/junk folder to see if they are there. If you don't find the emails at all, let me know and I can copy the suggestions here so we can help get your Spark up and running for you.
