What software are you using to rotate them on your computer? If it's just the software that came with your camera, it's likely that it doesn't really rotate them; it just changes the way it displays them instead of actually changing the picture itself.

If that's the case, try copying the picture into the free Paint software that came with your computer, and use that to really rotate it. Then save it with a name that's easy to remember, and upload that file to SparkPeople.

I hope that works for you. If the orientation is correct on your computer, I'm not sure what would make them flip around like that on you. Let us know.

I deleted all my sideways pictures. I tried uploading some new ones, and they did the same thing. I don't get it. Why are my pictures turning? They have the correct orientation on my computer. I'm baffled. I'm going to try uploading some pictures from our older computer and see if I have any better luck.

emoticon SENIORSWIMMER!

Like .DUSTY. mentioned, once you have uploaded the pictures to SparkPeople, you cannot rotate them. (I posted one upside down myself a while back - oops.) Once you rotate the picture and save it on your computer, you can upload the newly saved version to SparkPeople.

Best wishes!

Hi

When you changed the orientation of your photo on your computer did you make sure and save it?

Did you delete the older photo from your gallery first? I was thinking that you saw the older photo and not the newer version?

At this time there is no option to rotate photos in our gallery.

If you can't get it to work you can email me the photos and I'll rotate them for you and email them back. Just SparkMail me and I'll send you my email:)

I uploaded several new photos into my gallery today. I would like to set a more recent picture as my profile. Many of the pictures I uploaded rotated. I tried to fix them in the gallery, but couldn't. I rotated one of the pictures on my computer and uploaded it again. It went to my gallery just like it did the first time, even though I had changed its orientation on my computer. What do I need to do?
