Hi,

Generally, when a workout event is reclassified, it takes the length of the workout and multiplies it by the pre-categorized amount of "steps per minute" for the activity type selected. The steps per minute value is derived from the Surgeon Generalís published figures for Steps per Minute of various activities. Because this classification is an estimate based on time, it no longer reflects the number of "steps" it tracked during the original activity.

For some reason, the tracker gave me credit for 11 minutes on the elliptical when I had really done 30. I reclassified the 11 from cycling event to elliptical light, and lost steps. then I added in 20 more minutes manually and lost more steps! How does this make any sense?????
