Hi,

As mentioned, the totals can be one or two calories off because of how things are rounded.

Maybe the problem is with the app. The home screen matches the calories remaining, but the total column doesn't always match it.

Hi - I looked at your Nutrition Tracker too. Have you checked that again? If you don't see the same as me, you might want to try refreshing the screen to see if it changes then.

The issue only seems to be in my tracker (not in the shared trackers).

emoticon HONEYLISSABEE!

It was probably just a timing thing as I checked your account and it currently shows your total as 1160 calories eaten with a range of 40-390 left for the day. When you do see a small discrepancy of one or two calories, it is caused by how the individual items are rounded versus when they are summed.

As long as you meet or are within your recommended range for the day, you do not need to eat more. So, with your example, if you ate 1,200 calories, you can stop there for the day. We give you a range as a guideline. As long as you consistently stay within that range, you will progress towards your goal. You might be interested to read this linked article that explains how we determine your recommended range:

I hope this helps!

I'm just wondering why my tracker numbers don't match up.

I get 1,200-1,550 calories per day. Today, my total line says I have eaten 1,162 calories. Yet, it says I have 40 calories left. That math does not match.

The same thing keeps happening, and it is a little confusing. If my tracker says I have eaten 1,200 calories, but I still have calories remaining, should I I eat more? Which number is correct?
