I know that must be aggravating. I use the recipes site almost every day and I have not had that issue. Thanks for trying the computer reboot -- sometimes that does fix things like that.
There are various things in general that can cause that error message to be seen. Here are a few things you can try:
- clear your cache and cookies
- check that your antivirus / malware protection are up-to-date; certain malware can cause this issue
- disable extensions or plug-ins that you may have on your browser. When they are disabled, if the problem stops, you could try turning them back on one at a time to see which one might be causing the issue
- check if you are using the latest version of your browser
If none of the above fixes things for you, you might try using a different type browser to see if it works better for you then.
