First, note that the SparkPeople calorie ranges are set in food calories, not kcal. In the US. that is the typical measurement found in food packages. If you are in another country where food is counted by kcal, you may want to search online for a calorie-kcal converter to use.

Regarding your question, your range means you can ideally eat anywhere within that range and lose weight.

I use the calculated daily kcal goal, that includes the exercise that I track.

Base for that is 1200-1550 kcal (I sit behind a desk all day ;). Does that mean I can eat 1550 and still loose weight or should I eat 1200 if I want to loose weight?
