Well, an opportunity to "follow up on that promise" mentioned in that "post to the team", that was moderated-out came and went. I decided yesterday not to follow up at all on that promise ... This dealt with some retail store I used to frequent.

So, instead I wound up just phoning them up ...

That promise would have been characterized by some fairly malicious gossip on my part.

But, I don't know. I'd been shopping for a pair of pants, and it hit me: "I feel good now. Let sleeping dogs lie."

I just posted a post to my team, and I'm surprised IT went through. Just goes to show you ...

Well, that post - I do regret - celebrated a Non-Scale Victory of sorts ... it was not about marketing, per se--but it was about the power of word of mouth ... & actually, in my current physical condition, that is the only kind of "victory" I could and should legitimately claim...

Do not laugh! Many people don't believe me when I tell them I am recently diagnosed diabetic ... I don't fit the physical stereotype of the Type 2 (I should be sooo heavy; and I can't let myself be), and I sure don't want to fit the physical stereotype of the Type 1 ... [I'm a Type 2] ... I'm not into thinspo ... my back had given out during a workout today--a spillover day-after-effect from yesterday's pilates class in service of resurrecting my waning strength ...

Well, it was about word of mouth marketing of a venue in the neighborhood (most identifying markers of locations unnamed willingly). I won't be more specific than that. I have nothing to be embarrassed about but I am in a better mood than when I'd written the post.

In any case, mission was accomplished in the brick-and-mortar world; and I WILL FOLLOW UP on the promise I spoke about in that post ! (again, nothing unsupportive of SparkPeople and Sparkers; after-all, this will still remain my one and my only blogsite--and only one of my blogs was ever moderated out .. and that had been years ago--and I am actively, currently blogging ...; and nothing illegal, controversial or violent either)

Hi,

Team leaders cannot remove posts. Only SparkPeople staff members can do that and we only do so if the post violates one of our community guidelines. Generally you will receive some notification (either an email or a SparkMail) about why your post was removed. I hope that helps a bit! If you provide more information about what your post was, I may be able to shed some light on the situation for you.

Inquiring minds want to know. I want to know if they could moderate posts, and if so witht he new changes, I should now put a team in low rotation because of that.

This was not a controversial post, and there was no obscenity in it.
