The past several weeks it has become very annoying because of the frequency of the surprise ads that pop up when I hit "reply" to a post, or try to open my nutrition tracker -- or click on anything while using SparkPeople that is a normal function of navigating the site.
There is one that Pops up with SparkPeople written on the top and it is a red rimmed page and the voice says "Congratulations! You've been selected to take a short survey!" The fine print at bottom says something about it not being part of sparkpeople. This is not just once or twice it's happened, but several times per session. Is this something that SP is sanctioning? as a part of "advertisers help keep the site free"? I don't mind advertising -- doesn't bother me a bit that the two recent challenges are sponsored by advertisers. But the popup of a complete page when you innocently click a link to do SP business seems to be taking it a bit far.
I scrolled down to see if anyone else had started a topic describing this problem but couldn't find anything similar.
