I checked a little further into this and it looks like what you are seeing is a result of having a pretty aggressive weight loss goal (lose 26 lbs by the end of the year), and because of that AND having a limited number of calorie ranges, you're ending up in the lowest range no matter which activity level you choose.

Did you happen to change your weight goal recently? If not, it may have been where we are in the year compared to your goal date that triggered that to be different between the two days. If you change your goal date, giving you a less aggressive weight loss goal, you should see more of a difference in your ranges with the different activity levels.

Sorry, maybe I didn't explain that very well

On my Account/Email Preferences page, the Change Your Activity Level option ONLY appears when I have How My Daily Calorie Range is Determined set for Fitness to communicate with Nutrition which I do

Change Your Activity Level appears right above How My Daily Calorie Range is Determined.

This is the Activity Level that I am trying to change.

Up until yesterday, I could change this activity level and my Base Calorie range would change accordingly. Fitness added to the tracker would then be added to this Base Range.

Today, no matter which level I choose, the Base Calorie range stays the same (1200-1550)

Prior to Yesterday, since I had chosen Lightly Active, the Base Calorie range was approx 1600-1910 (I don't remember exact numbers). Fitness calories were added to that and my total range went up even higher.

I just want it back to the way it was prior to my changing things out of curiosity today. I love this new feature and just really want it back and working like it has for the past several weeks.

EDIT
I can provide screenshots if you want to be sure we're both referring to the same thing.

You currently have the option selected for what you actually track in your fitness tracker to communicate with your nutrition tracker. Because of that, it overrides the activity level that you are looking at. With your option, anything you track in your fitness tracker is being used for your nutrition goals instead of your activity level you select and your calories burned goal. Here's a page that explains the difference between the two tracking options that you might find helpful: www.sparkpeople.com/community/help_answer.

. But the main thing to understand is that the way you have it set up now it is currently using your actual tracked fitness data instead of a general activity level or goal that you have set and might not meet (burning more or less than what your goal is set for).

Hope that helps!

Up until yesterday, if I chose one of the 3 options, I got 3 different calorie ranges... good to go :)

Right now I made a change (from Lightly Active to Active) and then wanted to go back to Lightly Active BUT... the calorie range for Lightly Active now shows the same as Sedentary.

I tried several times on my iPad and when it wouldn't work... went to a computer that had not been used for this site before (i.e., no History or cookies to clear) and it still won't work.

How do I get it to show the calorie range for Lightly Active that worked fine up until yesterday?

Help please

EDIT
I just tried again and now no matter which of the 3 options I choose... it shows the same calorie range :(
