Hello,

I don't believe it will. When you set your account up with SparkPeople, you set your weight loss goals, provided your age, weight, how active you were and how much you wanted to lose. Your fitness and nutrition plans are set around your goals, not your BMI. Here is a more detailed article helping to explain this:

When I calculate my BMR according to the worksheet on this site, I get a completely different number than what is calculated on the phone app. emoticon Will this skew the amount of calories and exercise I am supposed to eat and perform to lose weight? Thank you
