Thanks for clarifying! Making sure you have all the latest updates to Firefox would be a good idea.

Like the other poster suggested, you may want to check your browser and any security software you have installed for an ad-blocker that could be interfering. Further, you might want to try disabling any add-ons and/or extensions you have installed on your browser. Sometimes extensions interact in unexpected ways, so disabling these can help determine if one of them (or a combination of them) is causing the problem.

You may have a pop-up blocker enabled on Firefox, check the internet options.

I don't think I have the app. I have an iMac that I am working from. I was just going to trash all of firefox and make SparkPeople my home page again. When I try to search for a food nothing happens at all. It just doesn't do anything. No Error message comes up. Not sure what to do. I have not redone my firefox yet. I will wait to see what you think. Thanks for getting back to me so quick.

Hi,

Since you said you might re-download, it sounds like this is using one of our apps, is that correct? If so, and the app is connected to the account you are posting from, then you won't lose anything by reinstalling the app, so there isn't any risk in trying that.

Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean when you say you aren't able to search? What happens when you try? Is there an error message of any sort?

Hi,
I have had a lot of trouble with the search function not working on the nutrition tracker. I can get into my recipes and favorites, but when I try to find a food that I don't have it won't search. I am ready to get rid of every thing and re download. Is there an easier way?

Thanks for the help.
