Those would be direct conversions.Unfortunately this site does only operate in calories. So if you're metric and work in kilojoules you have to switch in your head. I divide all kj figures for food by 4.2 to get calories for manually entering them. Deb, in New Zealand

ANNE_SP Posts: 9,603 6/7/13 8:32 P Hi,We have a converter that will convert any imperial measurement to metric when you add a food to your tracker--that is the conversion calculator Unident was referring to. You can convert grams to ounces, pounds, etc., via that calculator.I am not sure what you mean by a "gram to calorie" converter, as there is not a standard conversion for that. One gram of a particular food may have more or less calories than one gram of another food (for example, grams of oil vs. grams of celery). If that isn't what you mean, can you describe what you mean by converting grams to calories? --Anne ___________________________________

A metric to imperial or imperial to metric converter (calculator) so when you are finding and putting in your foods on FoodTracker it is much more convenient as well as more accurate. . The gram to calorie converter, I believe you are referring to, is not always available and seems to be only on certain foods. Thank you for your time, Holly

UNIDENT Posts: 33,498 6/7/13 6:33 P ? What on earth do you mean?Sparkpeople's database already has many items in grams, so when you select how many grams you had, you get told how many calories that was.So I'm not sure what you want? Deb, in New Zealand

I have searched and finding a gram to calorie converter to use three times a day on your site or the web inconvenient at best.
I noticed other people having the same trouble. Would you mind putting one on the front page of Food Tracker for your members easy access and convenience? Thanks for considering and suggestion again. -Holly
