Kelly,

I am a little disappointed in Sparkpeople right now. Because I am manually entering the steps & not using Fitbit, my steps don't count towards my fitness minutes or calories burned?

I am feeling really let down by SP right now. It was fun and motivating to get lots of fitness minutes each month and to see the estimate of calories I was burning each day. But, now because I am using a tracker that does not have a corporate relationship with the site, it's like I am being punished and it doesn't feel as fun or rewarding to use SP any longer.

I don't use the Fitbit products because of all of the problems I was having with the Ultra and the Flex.

Kelly, thanks for answering my questions in a timely manner. I appreciate your assistance.

Tricia.

Hello,

It looks like you have your step tracker set up on your fitness page already. The step tracker does not count toward your fitness minutes like the fitbit does.

Be well,
Kelly

Kelly, thank you for the link.

I still need help with my fitness minutes!!! I know that my Fuelband isn't compatible with SP, but I am inputting my daily steps-before with the fitbit, my steps would count as fitness minutes, but now they are not.

I would like to know how/what settings I need to apply so my daily steps (I manually enter them now from the Fuelband page), to have these steps count towards my fitness minutes.

Thank you,
Tricia

Hi Tricia,

We don't have a partnership with Nike so you aren't able to sync that info however you are able to add the information yourself to the fitness tracker. Here is some info that may help.

I was using a FitBit to track my steps-I had it synced with my SparkPeople account. Now, I am using a Nike FuelBand.
I am manually adding my steps in each day, however, my calorie and mileage count is NOT updating as it was previously with my Fitbit.
Is there a way to manually enter my calories burned-my FuelBand dashboard provides this information.

Thank you.

Tricia
