I would love to see a livejournal-style access system that lets you control who can see what. There you can create custom groups that allow access, and then when you post a blog, you can choose which group sees it (or, make it public, or just friends-only, etc.) That way, you can lock down what you don't want people to see without always excluding everyone all the time.

Darn.

It would be nice, perhaps, if there could be two categories - "followers" and "friends" - leave it so you can't control who decides to "follow" you... but reserve the "friends" designation for mutual-agreement situations...

Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

There is no way to control that.

I do wish they'd make being friends a required confirmed mutual thing. There might be some reasons why I don't want particular people advertising to others as if they know me and are friends with me.

Ok, I never thought about this too much until just recently -

I can control who appears on my own list of friends. If I add someone, and then later decide to "un friend" them, I can remove them from my page. But "unfriending" only addresses MY page... there is no way to prevent myself from showing up as a "friend" on another person's page!! Any person's page that decides to add me...

Like I said, I didn't think about it one way or another until I ran into a situation where I would prefer that my name NOT be shown on another person's sparkpage. Is there no way to prevent this? Is it just not a big enough problem to worry about?
