Tried to add Red Pepper Flakes but no "add to favorites" message appeared. Frustrating.

That's exactly what happened. I entered the amounts in the wrong format. When the error message comes up, you have to go back to square one and start all over again. Ugh. But now I've added a few foods and I'm finding others have added many of the things I eat, so it's working out.

When you get "an error message of some sort" grab a pen and paper, write that down, and include it when you post a query on the message boards. It's extremely helpful in attempting to identify what the problem is.

But yeah, if you put "1/2" a cup, that is the problem. All measurements are decimal, so you would put 0.5 for your half a cup.

Have you had this problem with any item you try to add, or just this specific one? Do you know what kind of error message it gives you? When you enter 1/2 cup, it should work as long as you put it as .5, since the program doesn't recognize fractions.

I'm new and thought I'd add some of the Eden Organic line of beans to the favorite foods list. They're all no salt added and the cans have no bpa. I entered the information 4 times and each time got an error message of some sort. Instead of having the error highlighted, the entire window disappears and you have to enter all over again. The serving size is 1/2 cup. Could that be the problem? I would have been willing to add foods to help expand the favorites list, but now I'm thinking it's too difficult and time consuming. Is there a work around?
