Thanks Deb!

Someone else asked this question a while back and I just couldn't find the answer.

Makes sense:)

That is incorrect.

If you add me as a friend it has no bearing whatsoever on your access to my "friends only" page. When I set my page to friends only it is only viewable by people *I* have added as friends. People who have added me, if I have not added them as well, are not "my friends".

If I'm not mistaken when you set your SparkPage to private friends who have already added you but you haven't added them back can still view your page and blogs. So if you don't want them to view your blogs / page you will need to unriend them.

Blogs can be viewed by anybody who can see your spark page.

If you have your spark page set to offline only you can view it.

If you have it set to friends only, only people whom you have friended can see it.

If you have neither set, the entire internet (not just sparkpeople.com members) can see it.

Are the blogs for our private use like an online journal or to share with others?
