Are you tracking mileage usign the mileage tab? If you look on the right side of that box, under the "Optional Comments" box, there's a little paragraph. It says:
"Miles you log here will be counted towards your calories burned goal based on the duration and speed of your workout. Click here to manually enter your calories burned."
There should be a red link on "Click here" where you can enter your HRM's reading. :) That will overwrite the default, and you can stop having to manipulate your time.
