UNIDENT Posts: 33,453 2/14/13 10:03 P You must be entering it incorrectly if it turns a very slow walk into a run. I figured you were speed-walking if you were getting run when you say walk, but if it's turning your slow walk into a run, you're not entering it correctly.Since you enter numbers for minutes and distance, but not speed, maybe something is being entered wrong. What values did you enter, that it transferred to a run in cardio tracker? For example, you say you do 2.8mph. So I entered 60 minutes and 2.8 miles into mine, and it produced a slowish walk in the cardio tracker. What numbers are you putting in? Deb, in New Zealand

Thanks, but I've tried that too. I walk 2.8 miles per hour (very slow as I have knee and hip issues), so I have tried figuring that out and it still wants to put in that I ran a mile in 9.8 minutes (if only!) or some such number. It is very frustrating.

I have decided I'll just track my steps instead, but thanks so much for all of your replies and help, Deb.

UNIDENT Posts: 33,453 2/13/13 8:37 P I have the opposite problem! As a slow runner I can enter a run and the mileage tracker converts my cardio entry to a "walk"! Ha - while I may not be super fast, I want credit for those extra calories dammit! LOLWhat you can do, is work out how many calories the actual run does burn (by starting a cardio entry and checking it - no need to complete it and add it). Do that once and find out what your running burns, perhaps per 10 minutes.Thereafter, when entering mileage, you can manually enter calories burned, so you just input however much you burn when running, for that amount of time.Just check your "what I burn running in 10 minutes" every 10lbs or so lost because that value will change as you lose weight. Thanks Heather and Deb. I do have the mileage checked on in my preferences. I also found the mileage tracker tab, but when I enter my time for "walking" it always wants to add it as running or jogging with way more calories than I have burned. The only selections to choose from are "Walk/Run" and "Cycle." Walking and Running should be separate activities. I have yet to put in a combination of miles and minutes that shows "Walking" in "My Fitness" tracker.

I have now turned off "Mileage Tracker" and selected "Step Tracker," which is a bummer because it doesn't add this to "My Fitness" tracker. Also, when you remove any of the mileage entries from "My Fitness" it keeps them in the "Mileage" counter, so you have to go in and individually delete them.

UNIDENT Posts: 33,453 2/13/13 3:50 A Mileage tracking is an option in both trackers, and is not the "add cardio" entry - that won't track mileage. If you don't already have mileage as an option, click on the Fitness Setup button, tick mileage tracker, and set up its options. Then, to enter miles, you must enter it in the Mileage tracker, not the cardio tracker. When you enter it into mileage it will duplicate into cardio for you, to track the calories. Deb, in New Zealand

STALEAN, are you clicking on the "Mileage" tab in the entry form? There's several tabs there you can choose from.

This new version is still not working. There isn't a place to add your mileage unless you go into the old version. When you add your walking (running) into your daily fitness tracker it doesn't update your goal. If you go to "Other Goals" that you track, it tells you to track it on the fitness page. Duh! It doesn't work on the fitness tracker page.

Hi Erica,

there is a button on the screen when you are using the track your fitness screen. the button either says Use Old Fitness Tracker (pop up version) -or- Use New Fitness Tracker. Which button do you see?

I seem to be having some issues myself using the new tracker as opposed to the old tracker. The old tracker has an option to directly enter the mileage.

If you are using the new tracker, I will have to play with it a little forward this to someone who will know.

Thanks

It's showing up but it won't let me add miles. Does it automatically pull the info from when you add running to your cardio for the day or do you enter it separately?

It sounds like you entered the info correctly. Forgive me for asking but did you hit the save changes button? I personally do not use the tracker but I did a test set up on my page like this:

1) My trackers
2) My fitness
3) click change fitness goals
4) mileage tracker setup
5) enter mileage goals then click save changes

the tracker then showed up in my list of other trackers with a test run of 3 miles. it showed both miles and time..

I hope this helps....

I set a goal under "fitness setup" to run 15 miles per week. I don't know how to add my miles. I tracked yesterday's run like I would usually under "add cardio" but it didn't add the miles to my goal. Anybody else run into this or know how to do it?
