You can't tell anyone "how to find it" because they can't find it - as you've discovered. Spark takes your choice to make the team private pretty seriously, so it's not discoverable by anyone else.

What you'll need to do, to get people to join, is use the "Invite people to join this team" option on the team page.

The addition of "Spark Team" to the name was probably somewhere where it always adds that to any team name. It's not renaming your team, it's identifying The Cabal as a Spark Team, as opposed to a Message Board. I wouldn't worry about that - as you point out the team name is correct in the team list. :)

Hi,

1. (b). Private teams do not show on your page by default. If you want the team to show on your page, you can do that by managing your team preferences. To do that, go to the Community tab and select SparkTeams, then "Manage My Team Emails/Settings." There, you can choose to display the team on your page.

(c). Private teams never show in search results, because they are not accessible by the community at large.

(d). When you are the leader of a team you are automatically enrolled in that team. You can of course choose to leave the team by going to that page and selecting to leave the team. For the other part, see (b) above.

2. If you see that again, please let me know where and I can take a look at it. Without knowing where you saw it, I don't have any suggestions or explanations at this time.

I hope that helps!

I created a new, private team and, as such, am the only member at the moment. I want to tell my teammates how to find it and join. Having a couple of difficulties with it.

(1)(a) The team shows amongst my others under Community/SparkTeams; it's included in the drop-down list of my teams on my Start page.
(b) It does not show in the teams section of my page. Clicking on the the first two places under (a) above transfers me to the team home page.
(c) Searching the team name, The Cabal, in Community/SparkTeams yields no result.
(d) My surprise membership in a team for business of team leaders also appears along with did The Cabal in (a) above and, like The Cabal, does not appear as in (b)above..

(2)(a) The correct team name is The Cabal. It appears correctly on (1)(a) and (b) above..
(b) I can't recall where I saw it at the moment, but SP somewhere shows the team name as The Cabal Spark Team, which is wrong wrong wrong.

Can SP's computer wizards get the correct teams with correct names to appear in the places where it is missing? Although I think it's irrelevant, I have yet to choose and post a team logo or picture.
